Aquatics Centre |
The Acquatics Centre will be located at the entrance of the Olympic Park and consist of a 50m competition pool, a 50m warm up pool and a 25m diving pool. The venue will hold 17,500 for swimming, synchronized swimming and diving and waterpolo will be held next door in a temporary venue holding 5,000 spectators. Construction on the Aquatics Centre was started in July 2008 and is schedules to be completed in 2011.
After the Games the facility will be downgraded to a 2,500 seat venue with the capacity to be enlarged for future events. The local community and schools will be able to use the facility and leisure water park will be added.

Getting There
This venue will be located in the Olympic Park and spectators will be able to access the venue via either the Stratford Regional or Stratford International stations.
