Royal Artillery Barracks |
The construction of the Royal Artillery Barracks began in 1776 and has a long military history. Grandstands and shooting ranges will be built inside the existing venue for crowds of 7,500. These facilities will be temporary and, after the Games, they will be relocated.

Getting There
Transportation by overland train or bus to this area already exists and it will be a few minutes from the new Woolwich DLR (Doclands Light Railway) station which is due to be completed in 2009.
