Wimbledon |
Wimbledon has been home to the famous tennis tournament of the same name since 1877 and is the perfect place to hold the Olympic tennis competition. The venue is getting an overhaul for the Olympics with improved stands being built and a retractable roof being constructed over Centre Court. The venue will hold 30,000 spectators and will continue on after the Olympics as a world class tennis facility.

Getting There
Wimbledon is an area in south west London and the vnue can be reached byboth Underground and overland trains to either Wimbledon, South Wimbledon or Southfields stations. The overland train from Waterloo takes only 10 minutes.
